the fig pantry on hiatus
Early last month, a drunk driver crashed through the walls of the fig pantry’s deli when they failed to stop at the intersection of 8th Street East and East Napa Street.  While we are very thankful that no one was hurt during this accident, the vintage building and our deli cases, fixtures and inventory suffered from extensive damage.  Consequently, we have had to close the doors of the fig pantry indefinitely.

We are very devastated at this unexpected closure, which has happened at a very bad time for us at the start of our busy spring and summer seasons.  Construction has slowly begun to rebuild and restore the building, however we are not at this time anticipating a reopening before the end of the year.

We are adjusting little by little to this change as best we can, and we assure our customers that our other locations will continue to provide the same services as always.  Your kind words and continued support are very much appreciated, and we look forward to welcoming you back at our other locations again soon.

we’re still open!
Even though the fig pantry is closed, it’s still business as usual at all of our other locations, including both the girl & the fig CATERS! and Les Petites Maisons.

the girl & the fig CATERS! is still providing all the usual items from our breakfast, boxed lunch and casual catering menus in addition to our regular full service catering.  Our boxed lunches are ideal to have as a casual picnic lunch after your wine tour, tasting or other wine country activity, and our casual catering menu is perfect for those instances where a boxed lunch is too casual, yet the service and fanfare that come with our full service catering is a bit too formal.

Les Petites Maisons is still accepting reservations and offering the same selection of activities, packages and additional amenities as always.  Our cottages provide the perfect, quiet location for a special Sonoma Valley vacation and are a wonderful treat for yourself and/or someone special to get away from it all.

We are anxious to keep our employees working, and we would love to continue to provide all of our customers in the valley with the exceptional food and service that we have for years.

Thank you for your continued support and patronage!

Rhone Around the World:  Pretty in Pink
The first shipment of our new wine club was sent out last month.  “A Trilogy of Grenache” featured three terrifically tasty bottles of Grenache blends and information on the wines, the winemakers and the varietal.

If you missed this first special delivery, you still have time to sign up for our second shipment scheduled for delivery this June, “Pretty in Pink.”  This shipment will include three luscious and perfectly pink Rosé wines as well as plenty of information on these wines and winemakers to satisfy your thirst.
