Harvest Dinner & The Farm Project

We had so much fun at our most recent Harvest Dinner at ESTATE!  A big thank you to our special guest Randall Grahm of Bonny Doon Vineyard for joining us.  If you missed out, this dinner included a multi-course menu created with ingredients fresh from the farm project and paired with wine from Bonny Doon Vineyard.

Now entering it’s third season, the farm project is a huge labor of love for Chef John Toulze and the chefs at all of our restaurants.  Garden plots at the girl & the fig, ESTATE and Imagery Estate Winery are planted, tended and harvested by our staff and supply much of the produce that you taste when you visit us.  This year alone, we’ve harvested 2,000 lbs of the 9 varieties of tomatoes in our garden!  To see the latest news and pictures from the farm project, check out our new blog, the girl & the fig farm project.  You can also check out pictures from the dinner in our Harvest Dinner Album.

It’s Not too Late to Save the Date!

Details: We hope you’ll join us at ESTATE this December for our first Holiday Open House!  The Open House will feature local artists and vendors selling everything from jewelry to specialty food – the perfect place to get some holiday gifts.
Sondra will also be signing copies of her new cookbook, Plats du Jour: the girl & the fig’s Journey Through the Seasons in Wine Country.  (Don’t forget to take advantage of the special sale price before October 31st!)
